资料来源：ETtoday健康云 记者洪巧蓝／台北报导 一名仅10个月大女婴罹患罕见儿童脑瘤「非典型畸胎横纹肌样瘤(ATRT)」，且肿瘤几乎布满后颅窝的中央部分，手术难度高；而过去为了避免影响幼儿发展，3岁以下个案很少接受放射治疗，台北医学大学附设医院打破限制，成功使用质子治疗的特性精准打击肿瘤部位，写下年纪最小纪录。 台北医学大学台北癌症中心儿童脑瘤团队召集人黄棣栋表示，ATRT是非常罕见的恶性脑瘤，通常好发三岁以下幼童，台湾平均两年约有两例。 该名女婴患者于2022年8月时确诊，当时肿瘤几乎占满病童的后颅窝的中央部分，由于难度高，必须分两次手术切除，所幸手术顺利，之后再搭配肿瘤部位质子及药物治疗，让该名病童恢复良好。 北医附医放射肿瘤科主任李欣伦指出，幼儿的脑部在0至3岁间发展最为迅速，接受放射治疗的年纪越小或照射范围越大，5年内智商下降幅度越大，甚至身高、视力及内分泌系统都可能受到损害，所以过去未满三岁病童极少接受放射治疗，而质子治疗的特性即可有效精准打击肿瘤部位，高剂量消灭肿瘤，同时闪避眼睛、正常脑部等健康器官组织。 黄棣栋强调，ATRT患者过去接受全脑脊髓放射治疗时很容易照射到脊椎骨，影响幼童的生长及造血系统，患者的存活率约逾4成，但不做放射治疗的肿瘤控制更差，而透过质子治疗有机会排除这些风险，对周边组织的保护效果好很多，而观察该名幼童在十个月大时接受肿瘤质子治疗，为全球质子治疗幼童的罕见案例，目前恢复状况不错，令人振奋。 十月大婴儿罹患罕见恶性肿瘤，北医质子治疗成功救治，第一次手术后（上）、第二次手术后（下）。 （图／台北医学大学附设医院提供）
