Oncology Nurse Navigators Team

Oncology Nurse Navigators (ONNs) monitor patients’ health, check vital signs, and serve as the primary contact throughout proton therapy, addressing questions and concerns.They provide thorough education to patients and families about possible side effects, ways to manage these effects, and self-care tips during and after treatment. Nurse navigators coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams to prepare patients and ensure comprehensive care.

They offer emotional support and counseling, referring patients to social workers or nutrition counselors as needed. ONNs continue assisting patients after treatment, managing follow-up care, and organizing subsequent medical visits.

Their role extends beyond medical duties, emphasizing emotional support and compassionate companionship throughout the proton therapy experience.
